In 2006, while celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary in York, we decided to drop into the local real estate office for kicks and see if there were any small cottages for sale near Long Sands Beach.  It just so happened that a small place had just come on the market the prior day and had yet to be advertised.  So, we hopped in the car with the broker and headed over to take a look.  We were instantly in love with the potential for what this cottage could be and the location from the beach was perfect.  After heading north to Ogunquit for a fancy anniversary dinner -- pizza -- we made the decision to take a chance!
